Food Supply Fears

I sat down to make a comprehensive list of all the food processing plants that had experienced fires, all the commercially raised chickens, turkeys, and ducks that have had to be put down, as well as other issues with our food supply recently. But I can’t. Just a preliminary search returned almost 100 issues. By the way, if you do your own research, which I encourage, dig deeper than mainstream media. You may not be a full-fledged conspiracy theorist, but surely there can’t be anyone who still trusts MSM?

How many cows died recently of heatstroke? I’ve read numbers from 2000 to 10,000. I don’t know the actual number. I also do not raise cows, so I can’t tell you if it is unusual or not for cows to succumb to the heat. But I think it is. Cows have been raised in some of the hottest states in the country for years and this is the first time I remember seeing this in the news. It fits the narrative. It falls into Biden’s fearmongering. He has told us food shortages are coming. And as an added bonus, the cows dying of heat also boosts the green new deal.

Jeremiah 24:10

And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.

Do I believe the incidents with our food supply to be a coincidence? Government manufactured? Judgment? No to the first, yes to two and three. Christians, it is OUR fault our country is where it is. The Bible tells us we are not to look like the world, but you can’t tell the difference anymore. Churches are dying and Christians compromise more and more every day. We justify our sins. But there is no justification. Your relationship with the Lord isn’t just about you, it’s about leading others to have a relationship with the Lord. If that isn’t your number one priority, something is wrong.

I’m no government/political/history expert. But common sense and a little knowledge of history have led me to come up with my own list of how we lose our freedom:

1. Control what we think by controlling information.

2. Create a crisis to cause fear and a reliance on the government

3. Cause division among the citizens

4. Take away our right to defend ourselves.

5. Take away our right to make our own decisions by stepping in to “take care” of us.

6. And then, when we are indoctrinated by the propaganda, complacent by allowing the government to pay our bills, beat down with fear, and now apparently hunger, fighting among ourselves, and defenseless, the task is done.

Which part do you think we are at now? More importantly, what are we going to do about it?

I was discussing the sermon at church yesterday morning with someone. We both spoke of the impact it had on us, and then I asked, but what are we going to do about it? We frequently hear a good sermon, amen at all the right places, and by the next day, it’s as if we never heard it.

We do the same with the issues in our country right now. We hear things that concern us at that moment but then go right back to life as usual. And we don’t realize how indoctrinated we are becoming so that life, as usual, isn’t even usual anymore and we accept it all. The people of today are the most do-nothing people ever. The people who built this country DID. They got out and did what needed to be done, back-breaking work, sunup to sundown, sacrificed, followed their words with actions…whatever it took to get them, their family, and their country to the place they felt it needed to be. And they PRAYED. They spent time on their knees. It was a priority, not an afterthought. They sought God. And those who weren’t believers still had a respect for God that is barely visible in those that call themselves Christians now.

If we want to stop the slide we’re on and change things, we’ve got to stop being so complacent. We have to be DOERS again. What to do? Well, the most important thing is turning back to God. Christians, we must put Him first again, repent, pray, be serious about soul-winning, and these things will make the most important difference that can be made.

What to do from a political standpoint?I really don’t know.Continue to be informed and vote. Stand up for what’s right and stand against what’s wrong. That will probably look a little different for each of us.But I do know what it doesn’t look like.It doesn’t look like burying your head in the sand.
