When the Wicked Rule

Proverbs 29:2

When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn

Earlier this week I wrote about the shape our world is in because Christians look just like the World. We aren’t leading others to Christ anymore because others can’t see a difference in us. It also has to do with who we’ve let be in power over us. I know there are many that believe that our 2020 election was less than honest, and I am one of them. But that isn’t an excuse. What I believe happened in in 2020 was a culmination of many years of either not voting scripture or not voting at all.

When I hear people say they voted for a pro choice candidate, I am disgusted. Many in the past election used the President’s brashness as an excuse to vote prochoice. In previous elections, I’ve heard those professing to be saved use economic reasons to justify voting prochoice. That’s all it is, a justification. And the believers who have voted prochoice for the past several years or neglected to vote at all, I believe that innocent blood will be on your hands as well.
